Really I understand why people hate pro sports

So far tonight I've seen the Mavericks battle back in the game only to see Stackhouse ejected with the score at 8. The Reds have made 2 errors, made one of the biggest baserunning mistakes in the history of baseball, and have been forced to go to the bullpen in the second inning. Sometimes I wonder why I waste my time, this was pathetic.

The only two pro-sports that come as close to being entertaining as their college counterparts are football & hockey.

Basketball in the NBA has a bunch of stars--great players--but almost zero passion until the Finals. And recently, even then, it's a boring brand of basketball--I'm talking in the Spurs' & Pistons' direction. Snoozefest.

Same with Baseball--MLB's postseason is fun, but if you ever actually watch the College World Series closely and see the day-to-day drama from that...it's 10x more exciting than anything MLB has to offer.

Meh, I hate the NBA. Not the league as much as the people who cover it. Too many talking heads trying to sound like they have a clue. (See Charles Barkley, Screamin' A. Smith, Steve Broussard) Too many people saying the next this or the next that...there isn't a star in this league right now.

Kobe? No chance, too much mouth without enough game.
LeBron? No...not yet. Potential...but even Geno Toretta HAD potetnial.

CP3 and Dwight Howard are the only two that I have seen make their teammates BETTER.

The only two teams I have liked lately in the NBA are the Spurs and the Pistons. They did it with a team effort instead of an individual. Look even at Jordan, yes he lead, but he had a team around them, and even Stern has been quoted as saying the same thing as Cane- it was a snoozefest. No one wants to see it again, but I have a sneaking suspicion you're going to see Celtics and Hornets. That's just my two cents worth.

MLB is exciting thrice a year. The last two weeks of the regular season, the AL & NL Championships and then the World Series.

I don't think most fans can appreciate teams like the Spurs because you won't find one of their players on SportCenter's Top 10 plays every week. They play team basketball and defense which is not the norm in the NBA. Everyone keeps wanting to see the next amazing dunk or no look pass. Good team play and defense wins championships- like 4 since 1999.

I never knocked the fact that they play as a team--just like the Pistons. However, other teams in the past played as a team--and were exciting...not so with SA or Detroit. The teams back in the day like the 80's Celtics, Lakers, and the 90's Bulls were fun to watch. The Rockets title-winning teams were even fun to watch--and they were a complete squad.

It's not SportsCenter I'm looking for, it's for a team with a pulse that makes me excited about watching their team play a team-oriented brand of basketball...neither the Spurs nor Pistons have that--and that's why they'll never be remembered like the other teams I just mentioned will be.

the 90's bulls was the best team that has ever graced a basketball court. After thier run I told my parents that I would never watch a NBA game again, and I haven't. The NBA is a bunch of over paid thugs IMO.
